Product Manager on the Data Platform Team, you will be responsible
for driving the development and management of data projects and
initiatives within the organization. Our mission within Data
Product is to enable all teams within Effectv to create meaningful
insights and business outcomes via useful & composable data
products. I.e. enable Effectv with fast, reliable and high-quality
data & data products/services. You will define product strategy,
gather requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to
deliver innovative data solutions that meet the needs of our
customers and stakeholders. This job is a people leader role with
direct responsibility for supervision or performance management of
staff.Job DescriptionRequired Skills:
- Working knowledge of Agile methodology in a dynamic working
environment
- Experience using Product Management software to manage product
portfolios and roadmaps
- Technical skills in data (e.g., SQL, Databricks, AWS, etc.) is
a big plus.
- Experiences in big data product management would be a huge
plus.
- At least 5 years of product management experience.Core
Responsibilities
- Internalizes and represents the Voice of the customer
throughout the product lifecycle. -
- Performs competitive analysis and conducts market research.

- Teams with product development to deliver high quality products
on time. -
- Provides feedback on the level prioritization within the Data
Product team and manages feature discussion sessions with
engineering to present business needs. -
- Leads regular update meetings on progress against assigned work
on product roadmaps. -
- Drives the feature funnel through partnership connections with
engineering. Plans feature submissions that roll up into the Data
Product team scope of goals. -
- Participates in the strategic planning for enhancements to
product content, pricing, packaging and features. -
- Assists in budgeting and variance analysis of product's unit
and financial performance, with goal of identifying opportunities
and risks. Concisely communicate trends, opportunities and risks,
develop and defend POV for product features/benefits. -
- Conducts feasibility assessments, capability gap analysis
(i.e., what is wanted vs. what is attainable). -
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in
matters of significance. -
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to
work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as
necessary. -
