Medical Doctor (Family Medicine) - Denver, CO Job Type: Full time (Onsite) Permanent Shift: Discuss during interview. Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. - Conduct physical examinations and interpret medical history. - Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests, imaging studies, and biopsies. - Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. - Provide health coaching and education to patients on disease prevention and management. - Participate in infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. - Coordinate with nursing homes and home care agencies for patient care needs. - Assist with discharge planning for patients transitioning from hospital to home or other care facilities. Qualifications: - Medical degree from an accredited institution. - Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., internal medicine, family medicine). - Valid state medical license. - Proven experience in providing high-quality patient care. - Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its application in treatment plans. - Familiarity with discharge planning processes and resources available for post-hospital care. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
