rapidly expanding department that provides psychiatric care for
patients in community, emergency, inpatient, justice, medical,
mobile, and outpatient settings. As a non-profit committed to

clinical education.Job Summary
- The Associate Director of Service will oversee hospital-based
services in behavioral health including the acute adult and child
inpatient units, the consultation-liaison service, psychiatric
emergency services, and Denver CARES. This person will work
collaboratively with behavioral health services in correctional and
outpatient areas and with community organizations external to
Denver Health. The Associate Director of Service will also serve as
the designee for the Director of Service as needed. Essential
Functions:
- Develops and leads local leaders (20%)
- Implements and sustains organizational and departmental
strategic plan (10%)
- Implements a culture of continuous quality improvement
(10%)
- Promotes the academic mission of Denver Health (10%)
- Provides clinical care within hospital-based behavioral health
services (50%)Education:
- Doctorate Degree With board-certification in psychiatry
Required.Work Experience:
- 4-6 years management experience Required.Licenses:
- MD-Physician - State Medical Board RequiredKnowledge, Skills
