range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVU's
compensation plan. RVU's full compensation structure provides a
minimum to a maximum range. The salary of the finalist(s) selected
for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including
but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and

administrative assistance, scheduling and back up for all exam and
testing activities in the Office of Testing. Essential Job
Functions
- Track and monitor all Excused Absences; schedule and proctor
make-up exams.
- Create, maintain, and update the shared Office of Testing
calendar and the semester-based proctor schedules.
- Enforce Office of Testing policies and procedures with
professionalism and consistency.
- Assist students with testing software problems across all
programs and platforms.
- Work collaboratively with the Director, Assistant Director,
Testing and Assessment Specialist, and Coordinator of the Office of
Testing in the development and administration of all quizzes and
examinations in ExamSoft.
- Create and maintain all proctoring materials for exams and
post-exam reviews (signage, supplies, schedules, and proctor
instructions).
- Track, schedule, prepare materials for, and oversee all
individual/small group exam reviews.
- Act as Chief Proctor; fill in proctor schedule gaps as
needed.
- Order departmental supplies; monitor departmental supply needs.
Marginal Job Functions
- Provide cross-coverage for inter-departmental administrative
tasks when necessary.
- Participate in relevant and appropriate community and
professional outreach activities on behalf of the college and the
university.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or her designee.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrate intermediate level or higher in computer skills,
including Windows, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and
PowerPoint
- Strong typing or data entry skills
- Ability to work with high level of confidential material with
attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve innovatively
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Demonstrate effective time management skills and ability to
meet deadlines
- Good internal customer service skills for working with both
faculty and students
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing equity, diversity and
contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to learn new software programs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- 1-2 years' previous administrative experience, including
scheduling/calendar keeping and other clerical duties Preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Advanced scheduling skills in Microsoft Outlook
- Professional background in academic, secretarial, or technical
environment
- Prior experience with an LMS system, Jenzabar, or ExamSoft a
plus
- Advanced English language skills, including grammar and
proofreadingFinal applicant will be required to pass background
