Job Description Job Description Job Title: Production Worker Pay: $18 an hour (Weekly Pay) Shift: 1st & 2nd shift Job Description We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as material handlers at a plastic pipe extrusion company. The role involves removing pipes from the extrusion machine, stacking them onto racks, and preparing them for transportation. Candidates will also perform visual checks for defects and load scrap onto pallets. There is potential for promotion to an extrusion operator role for those excelling in this position. Responsibilities Remove pipe from the extrusion machine and stack onto racks. Band up pipes on full racks for forklift transportation. Perform visual inspections of pipes for defects. Load defective pipes onto scrap pallets. Opportunity to obtain forklift certification. Essential Skills General labor experience. Material handling skills. Willingness to obtain forklift certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications Forklift operation experience is a plus. Experience in extrusion or injection mold environments is beneficial. Material Handler - Requires 2 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing or distribution. Material Handler - Experience in extrusion or injection mold environments. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.60/hr.
