Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-8 school setting located near Longmont, CO. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced SLP seeking to serve a diverse student population, providing valuable therapy services in a supportive educational environment. Location: K-8 school near Longmont, CO Site: Achieve Academy, Thornton, CO (approximate proximity to Longmont) Responsibilities: Provide speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 50 students, including 36 with mild/moderate needs and 14 with moderate/severe needs Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student eligibility and progress Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all applicable federal and state regulations, including educational guidelines Qualifications: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification for SLPs in school settings Experience working with K-8 students, addressing a range of speech and language disorders Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and collaborate with school teams Additional Details: Full-time contract position (40 hours per week) Job duration aligned with the current school year (CSY) Opportunities to work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support student development This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the communication abilities and academic success of young learners.
