world. This is a multi-faceted Principal Specialist, Security
position working in support of Special Access Programs (SAPs). This
position will help develop, administer, and maintain a
comprehensive security program in a fast-paced, deadline driven
environment. Not only are technical and managerial skills required,
but also a diligent, confident and results oriented work ethic.
This position will routinely interface with all levels of
management and government customers and therefore must have
excellent interpersonal communication, computer, writing skills,
and professional image with refined teaming skills and
understanding of team concepts. The ability to multi-task and work
with minimal supervision is vital. This position will require that
you have refined teaming skills and understanding of team concepts.
You must also have the ability to plan, schedule, and arrange
activities in accomplishing objectives as well as having the
ability to develop and implement solutions to a variety of complex
problems. You also must be willing to travel on company business as
well as be willing to work extended hours and non-standard hours to
meet deadlines and to support special circumstances. What You Will
Do Understand, implement and ensure compliance with the DoD Manual
5205.07, 5220.22-M NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives
(ICDs), and related Industrial Security Guidance Manuals or Special
Program Security directives. Provide security guidance regarding
program operations. Develop, obtain approval for, and implement
security policies, procedures, and documentation specific to the
program such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and addendums,
Operation Security Plans, Concept of Operations. Maintain and
leverage working relationships with internal and external
customers, peers and senior management across multiple program
sites and business units. Conduct self-inspections and recommend /
implement corrective actions Oversee/Participate in Government
Inspections, as well as implement corrective actions Administer
indoctrinations, refresher briefings and debriefings, and
communicate security guidance to internal audiences. Update and
administer security education, training, and awareness. Program
administrative work: personnel processing, visitor control,
conducting program related investigations, Top Secret
accountability, dispatching and receiving program
documents/material and resolving other related program security
issues. Collaborate and assist the ISSM/ISSO on implementation of
JSIG requirements. Other security related tasks as directed by the
Security Manager. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of
prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field
and minimum of 3 years experience. Experience with all Microsoft
Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Qualifications We
Prefer Prior experience with DoD Program Security, specifically the
SAPNP, JADE, and DISS Experience in special program environments
and understanding of government guidance to include the NISPOM and
DoD 5205.07 Security Manual and related certification and training
courses. Manage special access program facility administration
Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 related to the physical
security and construction requirements for SAPFs and SCIFs;
submitting pre-construction and accreditation packages to include
Fixed Facility Checklists and Tempest addendums. Previous
experience as a security professional supporting SAP and/or SCI

role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a
good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
