Job Description:
Senior Human Services ManagerSummary of Position/ObjectiveThe
Senior Human Services Manager provides leadership and vision for
the Human Services team and builds services and support systems to
improve the lives of clients. This position ensures day to day
operations are running in accordance with established business
goals as well as ensuring the achievement of high quality standards
. This position builds the client base and provides business growth
by providing exceptional services that adapt to the changing needs
of the service territory.The Senior Human Services Manager also
provides direct supervision to the Day Program Supervisor and the
Supported Employment Supervisor by providing leadership, direction,
relaying legislative changes, providing feedback about performance
and encouraging community involvement and interaction with
community partners. Ensuring compliance with all State and Federal
guidelines is an integral part of the responsibilities of this
position.The ideal candidate is skilled in conflict management, has
extensive leadership experience in leading a team of supervisors,
is passionate about making programs successful, and has proven
experience in growing and expanding programs.Essential Duties and

The duties include, but are not limited to the following:Adhere to
and uphold To The Rescue s values and policies.Develop and maintain
relationships with referral agencies, various funding sources, and
case management agencies/CCBs. Respond to RFPs for new
business.Identify and facilitate acquisition of community resources
that may benefit program participants, including available grants
and alternative funding sources.Monitor and control expenses and
ensure efficiency in services, including billable hours and client
fundingIdentify safety concerns and implement good safety
practicesAlways represent To The Rescue in a positive and
professional manner to all clients, coworkers, families and the
publicFunction effectively as a member of the Colorado Leadership
Team by developing goals and objectives to maximize the
independence, growth, and quality of life for our membersPrepare
written and verbal reports as necessary to document and track the
success of programsSupport the execution of the business plan
through collaboration with key internal stakeholders to support the
growth and development of the organization.In conjunction with the
Agency Director, review and align policies, procedures, and
processes for the departments to which oversight is providedEnsure
staff training and development is timely and complete.Provide
program oversight functions related to required daily
documentation.Support employee development, evaluations, coaching,
and counseling in a timely manner.Ensure prompt and effective
communication takes place between supervisors and
employees.Spearhead employee retention and facilitate employee
acquisition.Review weekly schedules to ensure adherence to approved
member hours, as well as ensuring employee scheduled hours reflect
appropriate employee status within the organization.Support
compliance of medication administration regulationsReview and
approve all member incident reports and provide feedback for
mitigation and action plans.Review incident reports for trends and
collaborate with teams to improve supports to members served.Act as
the risk management liaison providing timely feedback and
mitigation.Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior that
reflects the mission and goals of To The Rescue.Provide support to
talent acquisition to ensure staffing levels are adequate.Perform
other duties as
assigned.Competencies/Qualifications/EducationAbility to apply
principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of
intellectual and practical problems.Have knowledge of auditing and
monitoring procedures.Have working knowledge of applicable laws and
regulations affecting Colorado.Have working knowledge of privacy
laws and regulations.Must possess strong leadership
skills.Proficient with Google and the ability to learn computer
programs.Must have excellent communication skills and the ability
to communicate effectively with staff and provide instruction and
direction to employees on maintaining compliance with policies,
rules and procedures for scheduling and timekeeping.Ability to
respond well under pressure.Supported Employment Certification(s)
preferredMust have a bachelor s degree in human services, social
work or related field and/or four or more years of related
experience.Certificates/Licenses/RegistrationThe employee must
provide and maintain a valid driver's license for the entire
duration of their employment and be eligible for the agency s
vehicle insurance. Required to drive all agency vehicles which
include vans, 15-passenger vans, and buses.Supervisory
ResponsibilityThis role supervises the Day Program
Supervisor/Employees and the Supported Employment
Supervisor/Employees.Salary Range$60,000-$75,000Work HoursHours are
varied depending on the needs of the organization. This may
include, but is not limited to days, nights, weekends, and
holidays. This position requires hours that exceed a typical 8-hour
work day as needed. The position is available to take calls related
to needs of the department. On Call requirement.Work EnvironmentThe
work environment is consistent with similar office environment
