Job Description US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED The Tactical Solutions
Strategic Business Unit delivers mission system solutions, from
specialized antennas to electro-optical technologies, to the
warfighterOur systems enhance the performance of various military
platforms, from aircraft and land vehicles to ships and satellites,
and give warfighters the advantage they need to take action,
identify targets and defend against evolving threatsWhat You'll
Do:
* Assist in the development and communication of proposal strategy,
including pursuit analysis, bidding strategies, technical
presentations, win themes, key points, and pricing.--- Coordinate
all proposal activities, prepare various inputs, to assist with
final proposal delivery.--- Understand the proposal process from
beginning to end.--- Lead proposal compliance, color team reviews
and best practices across all critical proposals within Imaging and
Surveillance.--- Work with internal team members to improve
capture/proposal products, procedures, and processes, to ensure
timeliness and accuracy of submission.--- Develop the ability to
work with a team of engineers and related staff focused on
capturing new programs and transitioning them into successful
development efforts.--- Develop the ability to work with team
members, customers, and end users to find solutions to today's
needs and help develop concepts for next generation platforms and
capabilities.--- Assess market potential for existing markets and
develop investment plans to penetrate new or lateral marketsAssist
in directing innovative research and establish industrial
partnerships necessary to effectively compete in EO/IR markets.---
Propose IR&D in coordination with the Chief Technologist and
coordinate technology developments with other mission areas as
appropriate.--- Develop the ability to work with prime and
government customers and understand Electro Optical technology at a
minimal support level.--- Oversee capture of new study efforts
having the potential to evolve into new business capture
opportunitiesMaintain a regular and predictable work schedule.---
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the
department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities
Units and the Company.--- Interact appropriately with others in
order to maintain a positive and productive work environmentPerform
other duties as necessary.
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person
engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled
week in the primary work locationTravel and local commute between
company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be
requiredWorking Conditions:
Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom,
or production floorRequired Education, Experience, & Skills---
BS/BA in related field plus 8 years or more related experience.---
Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may
substitute for two years of experienceRelated technical experience
may be considered in lieu of educationDegree must be from a
university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency
recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of
EducationAn advanced degree preferred.--- A current, active Secret
security clearance is requiredA current, active Top-Secret security
clearance with SSBI is preferred.--- Proposal management and
business capture experience is preferred.--- Solid project
management skills and demonstrated ability to grow new business
opportunities, including a track record of successfully managing
the transition of new technologies and developmental hardware.---
Earned Value Management experience preferredDemonstrated leadership
and interpersonal skills in relevant business environments.---
Influencing, communication and team skills will be critical to
successful execution of the duties of the positionProgrammatic
background within classified program environments for government or
industry is preferredExperience in leading design teams and new
business capture activities is preferred.--- Experienced
presentation skills with documented presentation experience to
senior decision making and technical audiences.--- Demonstrated
proposal leadership experience including strong technical writing
skills is preferredPay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $129000 - $177750 Please note: This range
is based on our market pay structuresHowever, individual salaries
are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited
to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal
equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills,
