First-timers accepted Description: This is a fast-paced,
high-turnover, procedural unit. The facility is a Level I trauma
hospital. It cares for both outpatient and critically ill
inpatients, including emergent trauma and stroke patients.
Procedures include but are not limited to embolizations, drain
placement and exchanges, central line placements, and Y90 planning
and implantation. The team consists of 1 RN and 1-2 Radiology
Technologists in the room per procedure. Weekend call is required
every 4-6 weeks. Weeknight call is from 6:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Candidates will not need to float between different units. Charting
is done using Epic. The patient ratio is 1:2 in the unit. Scrubs
are provided. This position requires skills in various
interventional radiology procedures such as angioplasty, biopsy,
and stent placement. The facility performs between 30-50 procedures
a day in a busy setting. Interdisciplinary support includes IV
teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, and rapid
