Summary and Qualifications This position supports the mission of
HCA Health ONE Mountain Ridge of optimizing the quality of life of
all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on
medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Under the
supervision of the Radiology Director, an Interventional
Technologist, I will report to the IR Supervisor and the Diagnostic
Imaging Supervisor; the technologist performs procedures in
accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate
through geriatric. Responsible for maintaining expert technical and
patient-care skills and providing quality diagnostic results. When
the need arises, I will perform other duties as assigned by the
supervisor. The ARRT standard of practice describes the clinical
competency requirements and job responsibilities. The licensed
independent practitioner controls the ordering, preparation and
administration of the medication/contrast. The LIP has given
authority to competently trained technologist to perform this
function under their control within the facilities guidelines and
policies. Position Requirements: A.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current certification by ARRT
(R). Must maintain current registry. Must maintain BLS and ACLS
through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. B.
Education: Completion of an approved Radiology Technology training
program. Current certification by ARRT. C. Experience: Prefer
hospital angiographic interventional experience. Skills
commensurate with formal training requirements. D. Special
Qualifications: ARRT (CV) or (VI) registry within one year of hire
