A specialized opportunity is available for experienced Orthopedic and Spine Surgical Technologists at a leading medical center in the Aurora, CO area. This contract position supports the Spine, Joint, and International Hip Preservation Center, a dynamic unit dedicated to advanced surgical care in orthopedics and spine procedures. Location Overview:Situated near Aurora, CO, within a state-of-the-art facility known for orthopedic and spine care excellence, this center offers a modern clinical environment featuring multiple well-equipped operating rooms and a dedicated team of skilled professionals. The location provides easy access to local amenities and a supportive community atmosphere. Responsibilities: - Assist in a variety of orthopedic and spine surgical procedures including hip, knee, shoulder replacements, arthroscopic sports medicine cases, and spine repairs/fusions. - Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and ancillary staff during surgical blocks in a 13-OR suite. - Ensure all surgical equipment is prepared and functioning to support complex procedures. - Maintain compliance with unit guidelines and contribute to a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Current certifications: NBSTA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) and DORA licensure are mandatory. - Proven experience in orthopedic and spine surgery is required. - Familiarity with total joint replacements and sports medicine cases is essential. - Ability to thrive in a high-tempo surgical setting and work effectively with diverse team members. Contract Details: - Schedule: Day Shift, 7 AM to 7 PM - Contract position located in the Aurora, CO region with the possibility of local travel or relocation flexibility.
