position at one of our clients. Job Summary Our client is seeking a
Medical Records Technician responsible for providing medical
records and other pertinent information to internal and external
customers as authorized and as needed. Key Responsibilities
Uploading backlogged documents. Scanning and uploading documents
into NextGen. Working batches that have been scanned by clinics.
Answering phone calls. Downloading faxes from Kno2. Breaking down
old charts for scanning and/or destruction. Processing records for
appointments, messages, lab reports, and dictations in a timely and
efficient manner. Following release of information guidelines
according to policy and HIPAA. Maintaining control of medical
records through established policies. Assisting the Medical Record
Manager with administrative functions. Promoting and demonstrating
the mission, vision, and Core Values of the organization.
Developing and maintaining good working relationships with all
departments, management, medical staff, and leadership. Embracing
cultural diversity within the organization and community. Managing
human, financial, and material resources as well as data and
information responsibly. Striving to deliver the best outcomes and
highest quality service. Demonstrating knowledge of and adherence
to the Compliance Plan and conflict of interest requirements.
Contributing to and participating in departmental performance
improvement goals. Performing other duties as assigned. Benefits
