Job Description:
HealthONE, part of the renowned HCA Healthcare network in
Aurora, CO, is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapy Manager to
lead our Respiratory Therapy department. This pivotal role involves
overseeing the administrative and clinical operations of the
respiratory care services, ensuring optimal delivery of care in
alignment with our mission to provide compassionate, quality
services across a diverse patient demographic. The ideal candidate
will bring a proactive approach to operational management, staff
development, and compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring
that the department operates efficiently and effectively within the
scope of our medical offerings. Manage daily operations of the
respiratory therapy department, including staffing, scheduling, and
maintenance of equipment. Develop and implement policies and
procedures that improve service quality and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards,
including JCAHO, state health laws, and internal protocols. Monitor
patient care for quality and efficacy; assist with complex patient
situations as needed. Lead, recruit, and train respiratory therapy
staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and
professional growth. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare
teams to integrate and coordinate respiratory services across the
facility. Manage departmental budget; provide cost-effective
solutions without compromising quality of care. Analyze and prepare
reports on departmental activities, productivity, and required
resources. Strong leadership and organizational skills Expertise in
respiratory therapy techniques and equipment Ability to develop and
implement clinical policies and procedures Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills Proficient in healthcare management
