Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay:
$27.61 - $41.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant
experience This position is an onsite role and does not offer a
hybrid or remote option Summary: Demonstrates skills needed to
perform as a proficient certified surgical technologist.
Responsibilities: - Performs first scrub role independently in
multiple service lines. Ability to scrub core and specialty
procedures. Reacts professionally to unexpected changes. -
Understands and uses instrumentation and equipment properly and
works with service specialist to improve surgeon preference cards.
- Able to precept other staff in the scrub role. - Demonstrates
ability to apply and enforce principles of sterile technique
throughout surgical procedure, maintain sharp safety, ensure
medication safety on the surgical field, competence in surgical
counts, anticipate surgeon's requests on assigned surgical
procedures. - Within scope of job, requires critical thinking
skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal
supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and
take appropriate action. Requirements: - High School diploma or
GED; Completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program or
Associates Degree or Military trained. - State Surgical Assistant
or Surgical Technologist registration (DORA); Basic Life Support
(BLS) Healthcare Provider certification; Certified as a Surgical
Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and
Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency
Testing (NCCT). - BLS through the American Heart Association or the
American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card
in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through
