UCHealth is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit as part of a fellowship program, exclusively on night shifts. Our Medical ICU unit specializes in treating severe and life-threatening illnesses requiring complex assessment, high-intensity therapies, and interventions. Join UCHealth to advance your skills in one of the most challenging yet rewarding fields of medicine. Provide comprehensive and critical nursing care to patients in the Medical ICU. Assess patient condition, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to devise individualized care plans. Participate in educational sessions and apply evidence-based practices in patient care. Ensure adherence to ICU protocols and standards of care. Support patient families through communication and education regarding patient status and care decisions. High level of competency in ICU or critical care nursing Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Proficiency in using medical software and patient care technology Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of Colorado. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification. CCRN (Certified Critical Care Nurse) certification is preferred but not required.
