UCHealth invites you to join our team as an RN in the Surgical Progressive Care Unit (SPCU) for night shifts. This role focuses on providing advanced care to surgical patients who require close monitoring and complex assessments at night, ensuring continuity and high standards of healthcare delivery. Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and medical information Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for reactions or side effects Collaborate with the surgical team to plan and implement patient care interventions Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and health maintenance Participate in multidisciplinary teams to review and assess patient progress Implement patient care plans and assist with procedures as needed Ability to operate complex medical equipment Strong assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification required BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
