Job Description:
Swedish Medical Center, a leading institution in HealthONE's
network, is seeking a dedicated Oncology Clinical Nurse Coordinator
to join our talented oncology department. This role is designed for
a nursing professional specialized in oncology care, coordinating
and enhancing the delivery of compassionate and comprehensive care
to cancer patients. The Oncology Clinical Nurse Coordinator will
work closely with oncologists, other healthcare professionals, and
administrative staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and
efficient department operation. This position involves direct
patient care, development of treatment plans, and management of
nursing activities within the oncology department. Coordinate
nursing care activities and scheduling to ensure high-quality care
and efficient use of resources. Develop and implement patient care
plans in collaboration with oncology physicians and other
healthcare team members. Monitor patient progress and adjust care
plans as necessary. Provide direct patient care as needed, adhering
to advanced oncology practices. Educate patients and their families
on treatment plans and healthcare procedures. Participate in
training and professional development of nursing staff. Ensure
compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in oncology
care. Strong clinical skills in oncology and patient care
management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team of nursing staff. Detailed
knowledge of cancer treatment protocols and healthcare regulations.
Proficiency in using medical software for patient management.

401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
practice. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred.
