Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading healthcare provider in Colorado, is seeking
a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for overnight shifts
in our state-of-the-art operating rooms. This position plays a
crucial role in our mission to deliver superior patient-centered
care by handling preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative
nursing duties. Our Operating Room RNs work closely with surgical
patients, surgeons, and healthcare professionals to ensure safe,
efficient, and compassionate surgical care throughout the night.
Prepare operating rooms for surgery; ensure all necessary equipment
and supplies are available and sterile. Assist surgeons during
procedures, functioning as a critical part of the intraoperative
team. Monitor and assess patient condition throughout procedures.
Administer medications and update patient records. Ensure the
safety and privacy of patients during their recovery
post-operation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
to plan, manage, and optimize patient care. Strong clinical skills
in a surgical environment. Ability to work under pressure in a
dynamic and complex environment. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. Proficient in using medical software and
electronic health records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the
state of Colorado. CPR certified. CNOR certification is highly
desirable.
