Job Description:

UCHealth, a leader in patient-centered care in Colorado, is seeking a Mgr Patient Safety RN to lead our efforts in maintaining the highest standards of patient safety across our network. This role is vital in developing, coordinating, and administering our comprehensive patient safety program. The ideal candidate will champion our safety protocols, lead investigations into patient safety concerns, and utilize data-driven insights to implement strategic improvements. This position demands a proactive and detail-oriented professional committed to fostering a culture of transparency and continuous improvement in patient care. Develop and implement patient safety policies and programs Lead cross-departmental collaborations to foster safety practices Analyze patient safety incidents and trends to derive actionable insights Conduct regular training sessions for staff on safety protocols Prepare reports for management on safety initiatives and their effectiveness Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations concerning patient safety Guide staff through accreditation processes and quality assurance audits Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective communication and training skills Proficient in healthcare IT systems Knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license Certification in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Patient Safety (CPPS) preferred
