Job Description:

Night-time RN in our Acute Care Post Trauma unit. At UCHealth, we

involves caring for patients recovering from significant trauma,
providing comprehensive treatment, and fostering recovery through
compassionate, professional nursing practices during the night
shifts. Assess, plan, and implement nursing care plans for
post-trauma patients during nighttime hours. Monitor patient
progress and adjust treatments as necessary while communicating
effectively with doctors and staff. Administer medications and
treatments accurately according to physician orders and established
protocols. Provide emotional support and education to patients and
their families about recovery processes. Maintain patient records
with accuracy, documenting all care, observations, and
interventions. Ensure adherence to hospital policies, patient
safety standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in trauma patient care. Strong clinical skills in acute
care settings. Ability to work effectively as part of a
multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Capacity to make critical decisions in a fast-paced
environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of Colorado. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required. Trauma
Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred.
