Description Location: UCHealth Longs Peak ASC - Longmont, CO Department: LPS Perioperative Department Work Schedule: PRN, No guaranteed hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $19.67 - $25.57 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option Summary: Provides technical support for diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Responsibilities: Assists physicians and nurses with performing procedures and providing patient care. Processes tissue and bodily fluids specimens. Prepares and maintains endoscopy equipment and supplies. Performs endoscope sterilization and processing. Maintains the GI procedure area in a clean, safe condition. Ensures necessary equipment and supplies are available for procedures. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements: Credentials: Essential: * Basic Life Support Other information: Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED. Required Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Minimum Experience: None Required. IF APPLICABLE:BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. Employees are our number one asset.
