UCHealth, a leading healthcare provider in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Coordinator of Organ Allocation & Triage to join our team. This critical role involves managing organ offer and allocation processes to ensure timely and effective organ placement, coordinating closely with medical teams and stakeholders to optimize patient outcomes. This role demands a thorough understanding of clinical practices related to organ transplant and patient care management. Coordinate and manage the organ offer and acceptance process to ensure timely transplant operations. Liaise with surgical and medical teams to provide real-time clinical information necessary for patient evaluation and organ allocation decisions. Maintain compliance with all national and local regulations regarding organ transplantation. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient status, organ allocation, and transplant readiness. Assist in developing policies and procedures to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the organ allocation system. Strong organizational and communication skills In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and the organ transplant process Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments Proficient in medical software systems and database management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) preferred Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado
