Job Description:
Swedish Medical Center, a prominent HealthONE establishment,
seeks a dedicated RN Medical Burn ICU to provide top-tier care in
our advanced burn intensive care unit. This position is crucial for
delivering specialized nursing care, monitoring critical burn
patients, and implementing recovery programs. Candidates will be
immersed in a high-tech environment aimed at healing severe burn
injuries while adhering to the highest standards of patient safety
and medical ethics. Assess patients' pain levels and wound healing,
adjust treatments as required. Monitor vital signs, detect
deviations, and initiate appropriate interventions. Administer
medication, wound care, and other prescribed treatments.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to formulate
individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families
about burn care and prevention. Critical thinking and
problem-solving skills. High proficiency in wound care and pain
management. Ability to manage complex patient care and treatment
planning. Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) required. Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) certification
preferred.
