Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Travel
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team, specializing in
Medicine Tele Nights. Based in vibrant Colorado, UCHealth is a
leading nonprofit health care system known for providing
exceptional patient care across multiple hospitals and outpatient
facilities. This position requires a commitment to delivering
high-quality medical care and the ability to adapt to various
healthcare settings while traveling. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for monitoring patient health conditions, administering
medications, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients
throughout the night. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing
care for the patients in telemetry units. Coordinate patient care
with interdisciplinary teams. Monitor and record patient vital
signs and medical information. Adjust patient care plans as
indicated by patients' conditions and responses. Maintain accurate,
detailed, and timely documentation pursuant to healthcare
regulations. Administer medications and treatments accurately and
safely. Educate patients and their families on management of
illnesses and post-hospital treatment. Ensure effective
communication between night staff and day shift teams. Proficiency
in using medical software for patient management. Ability to
operate standard medical and monitoring equipment. Strong skills in
observation and patient assessment. Excellent verbal and written
communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of Colorado. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
