weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an
experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel contract in Parker, CO,
requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience and TCAR certification
prior to start. Details - 16-bed mixed medical ICU treating trauma,
neurosurgical, and medical patients across adult and geriatric
populations - Patient ratio of 2:1 in the ICU; up to 3:1 when
floated to cardiac or stroke units - Remote and on-unit telemetry
monitoring utilized - Uses Epic EMR - 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per
week - 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule - Floating
required to the attached Cardiac and Stroke unit as well as to
other AdventHealth facilities in the region (Avista, Castle Rock,
Littleton, Parker, Porter) as needed - At least 2 hours advance
notice provided when floating outside of the primary site - No
on-call requirement - Scrub color: Navy Blue Requirements - Active
CO RN license or Compact RN license required - Minimum 2 years of
ICU experience required - TCAR certification required prior to
start - BLS required (standard for RN positions) Additional
Information - COVID vaccination card required for consideration -
Calling off on a weekend or holiday may result in the manager
scheduling an additional weekend or holiday shift as a replacement
- Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the same rate as
