Medical Laboratory Technician Location: Longmont, CO Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,263 to $1,457 per week Shift Information: Evenings - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Med Tech (Medical Tech) City/State: Longmont, Colorado Shift: 8H Evenings 1p-9:30p, 8 hr shifts. Every other weekend required Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 04/27/2026 Job Description: The Medical Technologist (Med Tech) is responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The position requires working independently in a generalist role with responsibilities in areas such as Hematology, Serology, Chemistry, Coagulation, and Blood Banking. Responsibilities: Perform laboratory tests with accuracy and efficiency in multiple specialized areas. Maintain laboratory equipment and follow safety protocols. Ensure accurate documentation and data entry in the EPIC system. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret lab results as needed. Requirements: Certification as MLT or MT, ASCP or AMT required. Must have 2 years of experience as a generalist with blood bank experience. EPIC experience preferred. Must be comfortable working alone with minimal shift overlap.
