Job Description:

***Local candidates only*** On-site Interview

• Build-up and upgrade lab infrastructure for Wi-Fi 7 and CBU through construction at CTEC Labs
• Looking for someone who's worked in data center
• Extensive rack and stack - setting up and building out Wi-Fi lab
• Experience with Wi-Fi equipment is a plus but not a must have
• Must have experience with cable management (ethernet, coax, fiber)
• Must be hands-on and meticulous***
  • Key Responsibilities Lab infrastructure and maintenance
  • Data Center wiring experience with coax, ethernet, and fiber
  • Equipment rack & stack, rack installation, and power configuration
  • Cable termination - patch panel wiring
  • Troubleshooting a multitude of different connection issues with RF meter/Multimeter
  • Manage and execute JIRA ticket queue
  • Router disassembly & assembly with occasional soldering of cables/headers to circuit boards
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership
  • Collaborate with multiple teams and members to complete projects
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers and team members.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
    • Job Summary:Plans and implements enterprise networks and related hardware and software in a consumer router test lab.
    • Designs and documents network architecture.
    • Performs assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps.
    • Provides recommendations to optimize network infrastructure.
    • Configuration of wireless devices and test systems.
    • Cisco switch installation & configuration.
    • Able to complete an assortment lab tasks to help build a world-class wireless lab.
    • Fast-paced work environment where collaboration and innovation is highly encouraged.
    • Able to do common and repetitive tasks in between other duties as assigned. 2-5 years of experience required.
      • QualificationsAssociate's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or comparable experience in field
      • 2-5 years experience
      • Knowledge of wireless networking protocols and security configurations.
      • Excellent problem-solving skills
        • Certifications/Skills (Preferred)Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent
        • IPv4, IPv6, TCP/IP, subnetting, VLAN, Unix/Linux/Windows command line
          • Work EnvironmentFull time 40hrs - This is not a remote/hybrid type position
          • This position requires the employee to be on-site, working in a lab/data center environment with varying noise and temperature conditions
