evolving global market. The Strategic Defense Solutions (SDS)
Software Center is seeking a Section Leader/Senior Manager to lead
members of our software development team located onsite in Colorado
Springs, CO and Huntsville, AL. You will be responsible for
specific tasks including, but not limited to, installation and
configuration of Linux and Windows HW platforms from the OS up to
the C2BMC developed applications, documentation and verification of
all installation and configuration steps in documentation to be
delivered to the customer. You will also be responsible for
supervisory duties of team members located primarily in either
Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL. What you will do: The
Section Leader performs management activities and provides
leadership for a dispersed team of approximately 10-15 software
engineers. These activities include technical development of
people, providing and identifying appropriate training for people,
and performance management. You will team with the Department
Leader in the rollout and adherence to organizational policies,
goals, and initiatives. You will ensure two-way communication for
the section members; serve as the day-to-day liaison to the
programs concerning employee job assignments, performance, and
recognition. Responsibilities also include coordinating program
staffing needs and reductions, and interviewing applicants. Able to
lead and participate in the requirements, design, development and
testing of application software, and tools, to include development
of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and
systems. Design, code, test, integrate, and document software
solutions. Lead and participate in internal review of software
components and systems. Collaborate with leaders and other
professionals within Engineering. Follow established development
practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of
software products. Qualifications You Must Have: Experience in the
integration of separate software components into a single system
Experience with Linux and Windows system administration including
installing and configuring systems from the OS level up. Strong
problem-solving and communication skills, including ability to
produce technical documentation, and the desire to learn new
technologies and tools. Demonstrated success in agile development
and prior leadership roles, such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, or
Task Leader. Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology,
Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior
relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and
minimum 7 years of experience. Active and transferable Secret U.S.
government issued security clearance is required prior to start
date. Qualifications We Prefer: Current Top Secret clearance is
preferred. Experience working with the Missile Defense Agency
(MDA). Prior experience on the C2BMC program. Knowledge of data
structures and algorithms, systems software design, operating
systems, architectures, software development life cycle and
processes. Experience with EVMS (earned value management systems)

salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary
range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all
