CeDAR – Center for Dependency, Addiction and Rehabilitation is
UCHealth's premier facility for addiction treatment
in Colorado. Our innovative, evidence-based programs not only
save lives, they provide a meaningful foundation for
long-term recovery from addiction.
We deliver the highest level of comprehensive treatment for
people 18 years and older who struggle with drug and
alcohol abuse. As part of UCHealth, CeDAR is the most qualified
treatment center for working with addiction-related
medical and psychiatric conditions.
CeDAR can provide the opportunity and resources to begin a new
life in recovery. Our residential and outpatient addiction
treatment programs include medically-managed detox,
medication-assisted treatment, coping skills development,
group and individual therapy sessions, 12-step and other mutual
aid groups, family programs, and long-term follow-up.
Provides therapeutic evaluation and treatment of patients with

appropriate interventions and treatments such as relapse prevention
for addictive behaviors and coping skills for stress
Collaborates with nursing,psychiatry, milieu staff, and
ancillary services to provide appropriate psychological therapy for
