Department: Anschutz Internal Medicine Clinic
Job Title: Clinical Nurse Coordinator
Work Schedule: Full Time Days
Summary: Seeking experienced outpatient clinical leader to oversee
busy primary care clinic. This position supports 7 RNs and 22
Medical Assistants to ensure consistent workflow to support
excellent patient care. Needs hands on experience with RN triage
and thorough understanding of MA rooming workflow.
Daily coordination of personnel and resources within a clinical
specialty or department.
Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities,
and performance evaluations.
Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of clinical
Performs quality assurance studies and assists with implementation
of QA/QI initiatives. Serves as a resource to staff and external
contacts on issues related to patient care, patient flow and
clinical standards, policies and procedures.
Monitors departmental compliance with applicable requirements,
including accreditation, legal, and any regulatory agency.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive
judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be
able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate

- Other information:
Minimum Required Education: Graduate of an accredited
Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years
experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered
Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any
relevant certification as determined at position level.
Minimum Experience: 2 years nursing experience. Preferred: Charge
- Outpatient Experience strongly preferred
- Triage experience
- Med/Surg or ED experience considered.
- Supervisory experience is necessary to be successful in this
position. This position supervises MA's and RN's. Experience with
MA and RN workflow ensures success in this position.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red
Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before
start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of
hire. All life support certification cards must be issued by either
the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for
the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional
Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will need to be
through an American Heart Association sanctioned course.)
The pay range for this position is: $34.43 - $53.36 / hour.
An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon
organizational and individual performance.
