Invasive Cardiology - Memorial Hospital Central - Colorado Springs, CO

13 Week Travel Assignment

Full Time, Rotating Shifts - Days and Nights

RN Traveler - Invasive Cardiology - Memorial Hospital Central, Colorado Springs, CO

We perform invasive coronary, electrophysiology, neurology, peripheral vascular, some interventional radiology and structural heart procedures.

Shift: 0700-1730 plus call 1730-0700 weekdays and 24 hours on weekends

Position Requirements:
America Heart Association BLS, ACLS and CO RN License or Compact License.

Progressive care inpatient experience. Cardiac experience strongly preferred.

Prefer one year of cardiac nursing experience with cardiac rhythm ID and management, post cath site management, cardiac medication knowledge and excellent teamwork skills.

Job Duties:

Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.

Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.

Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses and new hires.

This position's pay is: $55.00/hour. An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
