This is a PRN, non-exempt/hourly, NIGHTS position based at Memorial
Hospital in Colorado Springs CO. No guaranteed hours; schedule will
vary. This role will provide care for patients undergoing
sleep studies and sleep disorder treatment. Day tech responsible
for performing MSLTs, PAP naps, mask fittings, Home Apnea Testing
set-ups and processing equipment.
• Prepares for the arrival of the patient by setting up and
preparing the equipment for the ordered test. Interviews patient to
determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing
• Performs testing and any additional testing required for sleep
disorder that is noted.
• Scores, interprets and reports results of sleep studies. Educates
patients about test results, sleep disorders, community support
groups, and available resources.
• Prepares, calibrates, repairs, and maintains equipment required
for testing. Determines and reports needed repairs and
• High school diploma or GED.
• Registered as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) by the
Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) or
equivalent. State licensure if required by law.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red
Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before
start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of
The pay range for this position is: $24.11.00 - $36.170 /
An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon
