Job Description
--- Promote the game of golf. --- Assist the Golf Professional in every phase of the golf operation. --- Spread hospitality and goodwill to the Members and their Guests. --- Responsible for golf shop cleanliness, golf shop displays and rotation. --- Assist the Golf Professional with inventory procedures including ordering, receiving, and monthly inventory counts. --- Assist with the promotion of merchandise sales, demo days and other events. --- Perform daily operations including booking tee times for members, point of sale transactions, and enhancing the member experience. --- Develop new ways of improving any part of the golf operation. --- Move into specific areas of responsibility as needed (Outside services, Ranger). --- Organize and oversee lost and found equipment and clothes. --- Aid in the organization and operation of weekly leagues, events and outside tournaments. Experience Required --- PGA PGM Associate Program Level 3 or Member. --- Experience with Golf Genius. --- College degree preferred, High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. --- Customer service experience. Expanded Golf Knowledge. --- Proven track record of team management, organizational and coaching skills. --- Experience with tee sheets and inventory systems.
