The Transportation DSP will transport Day Program attendees in company vans and buses in accordance with the route prepared by the Transportation Supervisor. The Transportation DSP is responsible for understanding the support needs of each of the clients in their care. This includes but is not limited to understanding the supervision needs of each client, understanding the behavioral needs of specific clients and understanding the needs of each client with regard to ambulatory support required. Transportation DSP is responsible for reporting Incidents that occur while clients are in their care. Transportation DSP will assist Day Program clients upon arrival to Day Program and in preparation for departure from Day Program. Transportation DSP may be scheduled to assist with late afternoon client activities at Day Program in order to provide Day Program DSP time to complete their paperwork.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This may include, but is not limited to days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
