Emergency Medical Technician - Mobile Stroke Unit

Responds to calls for emergency medical services and provides
patient care as directed and/or determined necessary.
Work Schedule: PRN Rotating
- Navigates and drives ambulance to and from scenes and treatment
centers. Provides stabilization of scene and requests additional
assistance as necessary.
- Determines nature and extent of illness or injury and patient's
history from available sources. Administers emergency medical care
within scope of practice, including patient stabilization,
monitoring, and resuscitation, from the scene to receiving medical
- Contacts medical personnel, reports/records observations, and
follows directives from supervising Physician or Registered
- Maintains equipment, restocks supplies and cleans ambulance as

- Minimum Required Education: HS Diploma or GED.
- Required Licensure/Certification: National Certification as
determined at position level. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare
Provider. Current State Licensure as an EMT. Valid Driver's

The pay range for this position is: $19.10 - $24.83 / hour. Pay is
dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
