Hiring Range : $57,580 - $71,900 annually, based on

Rescue Mission Benefits Guide POSITION SUMMARY The Youth and Family
Manager reports to the Director of Clinical-Youth and Family to
support holistic development of youth and families at The Crossing
from intake through transition. This role ensures programming is
developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed, and aligned with
organizational, contractual, and faith-based objectives while
fostering meaningful engagement and measurable outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES Administrative and Organizational Develop,
implement, and continuously refine programming that supports the
developmental and formational growth of youth. Ensure program
design aligns with evidence-informed practices, organizational
standards, and contractual requirements. Oversee data collection,
documentation, and evaluation to support program quality and
effectiveness. Maintain accurate records, files, and communication
using appropriate systems and tools. Ensure clear, timely
communication across internal teams and external partners.
Coordinate and oversee training for staff, volunteers, and others
engaging with the youth and family program. Foster collaboration
through regular engagement with supervisors and interdisciplinary
teams supporting youth and families. Uphold confidentiality and
ensure appropriate handling of sensitive information. Steward
program resources, including budget, space, and materials, to
support safe and developmentally appropriate environments. Support
coordination of internal and external partnerships related to youth
and family programming. Coordinate Programs Works with key partners
(Director of Chaplaincy, Director of Case Management, Director of
Counseling) to coordinate programs for youth (toddler to 19) that
will enable them to reach their appropriate spiritual, cognitive,
emotional, social, behavioral, and physical developmental potential
in a safe, quiet environment. Provides daily after-school, summer,
and other programming for the children and youth at The Crossing,
through which participants: Demonstrate improved cognitive
abilities. Demonstrate improved social abilities. Demonstrate
developmentally appropriate spiritual engagement and growth.
Demonstrate improvement in their academic performance. Demonstrate
engagement with external partners and resources that provide
continued support as the children and youth leave The Crossing.
Coordinates orientation sessions and admission support with the
Admissions Manager at The Crossing, especially for families.
Leadership Manages the Youth and Family staff experience: hiring,
onboarding, training, managing performance, conflict, time off,
etc. Organizes and coordinates volunteers for children and youth
programs. Organizes and coordinates a team of interns when
available to assist with the children and youth program. Provides
direction, relational support and vision with volunteers and
interns. Education Support youth in achieving educational
engagement and progress through coordination with schools and
community partners. Maintain awareness of educational needs and
progress, and adapt programming to support developmental, academic,
and behavioral growth. Build and maintain relationships with local
school systems and other educational resources. Ensure youth are
connected to appropriate educational opportunities and supports.

with passion and ministers to children, youth, and the family unit
experiencing homelessness, demonstrating an understanding of the
impact of poverty and homelessness on the family system.
Demonstrates the ability to effectively engage youth and family
through strong communication, relational connection, and
adaptability. Other duties as assigned in alignment with DRM’s
objectives engaging children, youth and parents. Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development,
Early Childhood Education or a related field in ministry or social
work. Minimum of one (1) years’ experience working with children. A
combination of education and experience can be substituted. Ability
to obtain and maintain CPR certification within 90 days of hire
date. Skills to develop and maintain an excellent children and
youth program. Ability to relate and connect with low-income
families. Ability to assess cognitive ability and individual needs
of children and youths. Possess a safe driving record and hold a
current and valid driver’s license. Positive referrals and
recommendations. Active Driver’s License as a limited amount of
work-related travel may be required. Must be a Christian holding to
the beliefs set forth in the Faith Agreement, expressed by a
