weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $18.54 - $24.10 / hour. Pay is dependent on
applicant's relevant experience Job Summary: The Medical Assistant
I - Physician Clinic plays a vital role in delivering high-quality,
patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. As a
key member of the care team, this position supports physicians and
clinical staff by ensuring efficient patient flow, accurate
documentation, and exceptional service at every touchpoint of the
patient experience. This role is ideal for a motivated,
detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative setting
and is passionate about making a meaningful impact on patients'
lives. The Medical Assistant I combines strong clinical skills with
compassionate communication to help create a welcoming, organized,
and efficient physician practice. Responsibilities: Prepare
patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical
histories, medication lists, and documenting information accurately
in the electronic medical record (EMR). Assist physicians and
advanced practice providers during examinations and minor
procedures. Perform basic clinical procedures within scope of
practice, including EKGs, injections, specimen collection,
point-of-care testing, and wound care. Ensure exam rooms are
stocked, sanitized, and fully prepared for patient visits.
Coordinate patient flow to maintain efficient clinic operations and
minimize wait times. Provide clear instructions to patients
regarding medications, follow-up appointments, and care plans as
directed by the provider. Schedule appointments, process referrals,
and support care coordination activities. Manage incoming calls,
messages, and patient inquiries in a professional and timely
manner. Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA
and clinic policies. Support quality improvement initiatives and
adhere to established clinical protocols and safety standards.
Foster a positive, welcoming environment that promotes patient
satisfaction and trust. Requirements: Minimum Required Education:
High School diploma or GED. Required Licensure/Certification:
CMA/RMA. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Minimum
Experience: None Required. Epic experience strongly preferred BLS
through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start
date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. We
