Role: The IT System Administrator plays a critical role in
maintaining the integrity, security, and efficiency of an
organization's IT infrastructure. This position is responsible for
managing and supporting servers, networks, and other technology
systems to ensure continuous and reliable operation. The successful
candidate will implement system upgrades, monitor performance, and
troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and optimize system
functionality. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support
business objectives and ensure compliance with IT policies is
essential. Ultimately, this role ensures that all IT systems
operate smoothly to support the organization's operational needs
and strategic goals. This position reports to the Director of IT.
Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain servers, network
devices, and related hardware and software. Monitor system
performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and
reliability. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
to maintain security protocols. Perform regular backups, disaster
recovery operations, and system updates. Collaborate with IT team
members and other departments to support technology needs and
implement new solutions. Document system configurations,
procedures, and changes to maintain accurate records. Ensure
compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices
for IT security and data protection. Travel to various sites to
assist end user with troubleshooting, delivering equipment or other
IT needs. Manage ticket system to answer questions for users.
Hardware inventory management. Work with company and vendors
effectively to assist in IT transitions and needs. Minimum
Qualifications: Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role
managing Windows and/or Linux server environments. Strong
understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP,
and VPN. Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware
or Hyper-V. Familiarity with backup and recovery tools and
procedures. Active Drivers License, access to a vehicle and car
insurance. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network, or Cisco
CCNA. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or
Google Cloud. Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell,
Bash, or Python for automation. Experience with security frameworks
and compliance standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST. Strong
problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in
a team environment. Skills: The required skills enable the IT
System Administrator to effectively manage and maintain complex IT
environments by configuring and troubleshooting hardware and
software systems daily. Networking knowledge is essential for
diagnosing connectivity issues and ensuring secure communication
across the organization’s infrastructure. Familiarity with
virtualization and cloud technologies allows the administrator to
optimize resource utilization and support scalable solutions.
Scripting skills facilitate automation of routine tasks, improving
efficiency and reducing the risk of human error. Additionally,
strong communication and documentation skills are vital for
collaborating with team members and maintaining clear records of
system configurations and changes. Customer Service skills a must
to engage with internal and external customers. Supervisory

close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. Travel

extended. Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 / annually The estimate
